Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist


Location: Bangalore, KA


As a Content Marketing Specialist at Emversity, you will play a pivotal role in creating and distributing engaging content that attracts and retains our target audience. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies, produce high-quality content, and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.


Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

● Create compelling content across various platforms including blogs, social media, email newsletters, websites, and more.

● Collaborate with internal teams to understand audience needs, industry trends, and product/service features to inform content creation.

● Conduct keyword research and optimise content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic.

● Manage editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content that aligns with marketing initiatives and company goals.

● Monitor and analyse content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and adjust strategies accordingly to improve results.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing.


Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

● Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

● Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, and digital marketing strategies.

● Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.

● Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar analytics tools to track and measure content performance.

● Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into compelling content.

● Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visual content.

● Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web design principles is preferred but not mandatory.

● Familiarity with industry-specific topics and trends relevant to our target audience.

Our Founder & CEO, Vivek Sinha, is a seasoned operator in the Education and Upskilling space. He was the COO of Unacademy, and helped build India's largest learning platform and

$3.6 billion company that employed more than 5,000 employees and 3,000 educators across

Online and ~100 Offline centres. Vivek, in his new venture, is supported by seasoned leadership from Healthcare and Education domain.


We are headquartered in Bangalore. The formal unveiling of the brand (and commencement of admissions) is happening in February 2024 in 12 cities of India, and 1 campus abroad.
